Soap extruders are very popular for making long soaps of, say, 200 gm, 500 gm, and wide varieties. These extruders are high-speed extruders and hence the soap plant needs a large area for piling up the soaps to cool down to a certain extent. This cooling down makes it possible for the soaps to be handled for onward packaging purposes.
Some of the plants use a hot air blower for cooling of soaps. This reduces the time period from the extrusion process to the, so to say, curing of soaps, which are ready for onward packaging.

Here again, it is felt that the soaps should be taken directly to the packaging line just after extrusion. This process requires an Automatic Feeder, as the soaps coming out of the extruders are coming on its thickness and the packaging is done in a lay-flat position on its width.
